With the cold winter months bringing snow, I’m bringing you one of my favorite cheap, balanced, tasty and protein packed breakfasts! This has an excellent balance of carbs, protein and fats to keep you energized all morning.
- 1/2C cooked oatmeal (cooked in water)
- 1C vanilla Greek yogurt (for a protein boost and creamy texture
- 1/2 banana sliced
- 1T ground flax
- 1T chia seeds
- 1T chopped walnuts.
Top with remaining ingredients
- Optional: sprinkle some cinnamon on top
- Optional: Sprinkle some brown sugar if needed but the yogurt and banana are enough sweetness for me 😍
